Ultrafiltration Plants & Systems/Units
Ultra-filtration is an excellent membrane technology for removing very fine particles, microorganisms and organics. Fine particles as small as 1000 molecular weight can be effectively removed using this technology. Ultra-filtration is used for a pretreatment for reverse osmosis, as oil/water separator, to remove organic contaminants and to provide high quality filtration for industrial applications.

| Ultrafiltration Plants In an ultrafiltration system, waste water flows parallel to the membrane surface, as compared to the perpendicular flow of ordinary filtration. The cross flow motion of the water within an ultra-filtration system allows high filtration rates to be maintained continuously, whereas the constant build up of solids along the filter surface can cause blockage in an ordinary perpendicular filtration system. |
